Great place to visit. We never went on the extended tour which went further into the cave but what we did see what amazing. Well worth the visit. Highly recommend.
Such an awesome place ... nature is amazing. There were tours (involving a wee boat ride), but it's possible to enjoy the caves without joining these. It's a lovely walk down to the wee bay and to the cave, but it involves lots of steps …
For the second year running, it was closed, suffice to say we were disappointed, But found on this visit that due to the recent rains showed another natural wonder, they have when it rains, the flood of water cascading through is amazing, so I'll be back again next year.
Another beautiful place on our nc500 trip , the cave is massive and free to walk around, ( there is a payed tour) nice little walk to the cliff tops another place on the 500 you really need to visit

Nice caves, small walk, scenic coast view. You can take a walking and boat tours, but need to wait as they are understaffed.
